The Kisses
"Love in full bloom."
This piece was one of my most emotionally demanding works: a recreation of Gustav Klimt's The Kiss, painted on a mechanical watch dial. It was commissioned as a birthday gift, a tribute to love and connection.
Painting this was a real challenge. Klimt's work carries so much emotion, complexity, and symbolism. But that's also exactly why I wanted to take it on. The result brought joy, both to me and the client. Wrapped in gold and flowers, the dial became a symbol of love that is soft, sincere, and quietly powerful.

I used professional-grade acrylics to hand-paint every detail, filming the process with an electron microscope and an Osmo Pocket. You'll see each stroke, from beginning to end, and how the dial comes together with a custom stainless steel case and ST2130 movement. Thank you for watching.
